Technology, Society, and CultureTechnology, Society, and Culture is a capstone course that takes place in the student's senior year. In order to take the course, students must have completed a contemporary history course, as well as English 110 and English 135. The course examines the relationship between society and technology from political, environmental, cultural, ethical, and economic persperctives. Reading, discussion, and research reports focus on foundational and contemporary topics and issues. JDAHP students write a thesis consisting of 30-50 pages of text, double-spaced, and in 12-point font. The thesis is directed by a faculty member and receives critical review by a reading committee.
